Oil to Air Coolers

Grayson's oil to air heat exchangers offer exceptional thermal performance and can be supplied complete with electric or hydraulic fan system where required. Our thermal design service will allow you to size your cooler correctly to ensure your cooling expectations are met.

Our EX range is a medium duty cooler, offering a high degree of flexibility and has been developed to allow us to build any shape or size (up to 1m x 1m). The EX range is rated to a working pressure of 8 bar. It is recommended that, with all EX coolers, a by pass / relief valve is fitted to protect the cooler against high pressure spikes either at start-up or in extreme cold weather conditions.

Alternatively, we have our heavy duty high pressure PB range which gives the same excellent thermal performance and also offers a burst pressure of over 50 bar and a working pressure of 25 bar. We have some applications working at significantly higher pressure than this.

All new designs where the working pressure is to be above our stated values can be validated on our pressure cycle rig where we can replicate the pressure duty cycle expected up to 65 bar.
