GRAYSON THERMAL SYSTEMS SALES, MARKETING & ENGINEERING RE-STRUCUTRE - MARCH 2010
Significant changes have taken place within the Sales & Marketing and Engineering Departments within Grayson Thermal Systems.
Sales & Marketing
The Sales Department has been split into two focused sales groups:-
David Hobbs has taken Group responsibility for all After Sales activity and some low volume OEM customers. Dave has 15 years experience in After Sales and an extensive knowledge of the After Sales sector. Dave will be supported by Tracey Hateley, newly appointed Lisa Newman-Boaler, and Robert Taylor who is based in Scotland.
The OE sales activity is now headed up by Ian Hateley and Stuart Hateley. Ian will continue as Service Director, but has a wide experience of HVAC products and will use this breadth of knowledge to assist the business in growing its HVAC business into new markets and take full advantage of the many opportunities for our HVAC range of products.
Stuart Hateley will personally be taking the responsibility for cooling systems and associated products. This will include engine cooling systems, transmission cooling, hybrid cooling and any other heat transfer requirement using heat exchangers. He hopes to use his 15 years experience in thermal design to ensure that the products offered by Grayson will give the very best thermal performance in your chosen application whilst meeting the increasing durability requirements set within our markets.
Richard Harris is the new Internal Parts Sales Manager and he is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the sales office.
Finally, Marie Stephenson has joined our organisation as Marketing Manager. Marie will be working to improve communication throughout the organisation, both internally and externally, and identify new opportunities.
Engineering & Technical
After a complete review of our engineering and technical requirements, we have restructured our Engineering and Technical Department. The expectation of our customers continues to grow and these changes are targeted at further developing the technical expertise available from Grayson. This new structure is just the start of driving Engineering excellence in everything we do.
The Engineering and Technical Department will be headed up by Derek Minister. Derek has a wide knowledge and experience of engineering principles, and over two years experience in the field working with our customers. He will bring a pragmatic commercial approach to the Engineering process.
The new Engineering structure will be split into two clear areas with our Application Engineers supporting all Customer Engineering activity.
The Product Research, Development and Design activity will be managed through our Design Group who will work on all new product development and customer design change requests.
The changes in our Engineering Department will see new expertise brought into our organisation with recruitment of additional engineering staff with the required skills and experience to drive engineering excellence.
We believe these changes will enable us to develop a Sales and Engineering strategy over the coming years which will allow Grayson to continue to be a growing and successful enterprise and will encompass the excellence our company strives to offer our worldwide customer base.
